Brewed by Black Sheep Brewery. Black Sheep Brewery was established in 1992 by Paul Theakston when the brewery run by his family for five generations was sold to a national brewer. Paul, fiercely independent, took his own path, becoming the ‘Black Sheep’ of the family by setting up his own brewery in the very same Yorkshire town, Masham.
